Service Manager
Ensures the day to day operation of our organisation. To ensure that the Carers Sitting Service is aware of any new developments and kept up to date on legislation regarding our Service, as well as Employment Law.
Undertakes initial assessments for Service Users and matches the appropriate staff to each individual Service User in line with their Care Plan.
The Service Manager provides an out of hours, on call service, 7 days a week.
Care Support Workers
All of our Care Support Workers are friendly, professional, caring and have a positive attitude at all times whilst working with the Service Users. They are trained to promote independence, dignity and choice whilst ensuring Service User confidentiality and working to the Service User's individual care plan.
All of our Care Support Workers:

- All our staff are trained to the highest standard to meet the needs of our Service Users and receive regular updates to reflect the latest legislations.
- Have a regular Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring formerly CRB) check which covers staff working with Vulnerable Adults.
- Have two references taken
- Have regular supervision and appraisals as well as spot checks throughout the year.
- Provided with appropriate protective clothing and safety equipment with health and safety in mind.
