Derbyshire Dignity Campaign
The Carers Sitting Service have been awarded the Derbyshire Dignity Campaign Achievement of the Bronze Standard in recognition of our work to promote dignity and respect.
This was awarded to the Service on the 15th May 2012, by Bill Robertson, Strategic Director, Derbyshire Adult Care and Maggie Boyd Director of Clinical Quality & Nursing, NHS Derby City and NHS Derbyshire County.
Another fantastic award achieved proving the quality of Service that our Care Support Workers, Staff and Committee Members strive to achieve.
The Walbrook Fund via Derbyshire Community Foundation
The Walbrook Fund have donated £614 to the Carers Sitting Service to provide postage, telephone and internet costs.
This is vital to the work of the Carers Sitting Service to ensure we are accessible both by telephone and internet to our customers, when providing care to the elderly, disabled and vulnerable within the Bolsover District and North East Derbyshire.
Derbyshire Times Business Awards
The Carers Sitting Service came first place in the Derbyshire Times Business Awards 2011 for Customer Services.
